Due to Covid-19 we cannot hold any of our fund raising events. These will resume as soon as we can.
Just to let you know the regular events we hold are:
A Mens evening
This came about because time and time again we heard that men are finding it so difficult to get to the dentist- either unsociable hours or they were a little bit apprehensive of what the Dentist would find as they hadn’t been for sometime. On reception, we gathered names of these Gentlemen and sent them an invite to one of our charity Men’s nights.
These evenings consist of a dental health assessment by Don Robertson and an oral cancer check, it also consisted of a gum health check by our hygiene team. Mostly we reassured these patients that all is well but it is important to note that we have discovered problems that needed immediate attention.
To attend these evenings, all we need is a medical history and a donation to our chosen charity. (usually around £20.00).
The charities we have supported in the past are:
Guide Dogs, Macmillan, Prostate Cancer Trust, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Heart Foundation Trust and many more.
The Donkey Sanctuary in Sutton Park
We have an on going love of the donkey the practice supports in Sutton Park. His name is CISCO and members of the Genie club enjoy going to visit him.
Tooth Whitening events for Bridal Parties
We open the surgery on a Saturday for a tooth whitening event. This involves:
- Discounts on tooth whitening (Boutique) or whitening gel pens
- Introduction to AIRFLOW a superior tooth polish
- How to make the best of your smile on your big day
We book appointments prior to the wedding to make sure that the Bride and Groom look amazing on their wedding photographs. We also offer a free top up 12.
